A

Economic Research and Analysis (ERA) is a division of the Department of Finance. It provides analysis and forecasting of the macroeconomic environment; provision of specific macroeconomic analysis and studies related to policy and project impact assessments. It is responsible for both Newfoundland and Labrador Econometric and Input/Output Models, as well as, the Population Projection Model and demographic analysis. ERA is also responsible for the publication of the budget document, The Economy and the midyear review report, The Economic Review.
